The Mithras Trio have been praised for their ‘exhilarating, highly-toned’ performances (The Arts Desk), and have established themselves as one of the next generation’s most exciting and dynamic piano trios. Established in 2017, while students at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, the trio shot to international recognition winning first prize at the 10th Trondheim International Chamber Music Competition (2019) and, in the same year, achieved first prizes in the Royal Over-Seas League Music Competition. They were recently named as BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artists for the 2021-2023 seasons.
