Andrew Watkinson and Friends are generously presenting this Fundraising Event for the benefit of both Welwyn Garden Concert Club and St. Francis of Assisi Church. They will play music which has been especially significant to him - ranging from Bach to the Beatles.

Beethoven - 2 movements from Violin Sonata op 30 no 2
Schubert - Slow movement from E flat Piano Trio
Brahms - 2 movements from Piano Quntet
Kodaly - first movement of Duo for Violin and Cello
Bartok - A few of the 2 Violin Duos
Shostakovich - 2 of the Romances for Voice and Piano Trio

Andrew Watkinson brings along to this afternoon’s concert a number of close musical friends, gathered by him over his lifetime as a world-renowned violinist. Together, they will take us on a retrospective journey embracing a variety of works from Bach to the Beatles. Many of the artists joining Andrew have delighted the audiences of Welwyn Garden Concert Club in the past, displaying their wealth of musical experience and artistic insight. This is a concert not to be missed!
